A Church Is More than a Building
It’s a Home
One of the greatest attacks of the enemy is to make you busy, to make you hurried, to make you noisy, to make you distracted, to fill the people of God and the Church of God with so much noise and activity that there is no room for prayer. There is no room for being alone with God. There is no room for silence. There is no room for meditation.
Paul Washer
There is more to a church than just a building; a church is a home in an often crazy world. The church building is there, but the faith of those who worship inside it is what gives it life, the good and the bad. We learn to accept it and often overcome it. You can’t expect your church family to be perfect, but that doesn’t mean the members don’t care; we are all human, and we will make mistakes.
Hypocrites in the Church? Yes, and in the lodge and at the home. Don’t hunt through the Church for a hypocrite. Go home and look in the mirror. Hypocrites? Yes. See that you make the number one less.
