A Panic Pandemic
I went to the store today, because I needed Groceries and Toilet Paper, the first store we went to had none, and the second store had none either, the shelves were literally wiped bare, not only that but Diapers were not to be found, thankfully I don’t have a little one in diapers but my heart goes out to all who do.
The reality is that panic is causing these people to freak, and for some that includes hoarding, not thinking of all the Mothers who can’t buy there baby diapers simply because there are none to be had, or the health care worker who needs to by necessities for their families.
It wasn’t only paper goods, including diapers that were bare, it was cases in the freezer section that were empty, some places barely had cans, others had no rice, thankfully I did not need rice.
I understand the fear Covid 19 is a scary beast, but buying more than you need of something is not helpful to those who truly need that product whether it be Toilet Paper, Diapers, Bread or any number of things.
I don’t think turning this Pandemic into a Panic Pandemic is the answer, due what you are told to do, but that does not include buying more than you need of something is not going to help, in fact it may hurt someone.
A Pandemic is horrible enough but turning it into a Panic Pandemic is even worse.
