The Impact of Music
There’s no denying music impacts our lives, it speaks to us, tells us stories and reminds us we are not alone. I am not musical 🎤 by any stretch of the imagination but that does not mean music hasn’t had an impact of my life. I was born in 1977. The week I was born the number one song in the U.S was You Light Up My Life by Debby Boone.
And in the U.K it was ABBA’s The Name of the Game…
But honestly those are not the songs that most impacted my life, not that they are not excellent songs, and I do remember listening to ABBA growing up, I don’t recall listening to Debby Boone much, but Jim Croce who died a few years before I was born was a constant, from Bad, Bad, Leroy Brown, to Time In a Bottle, From You Don’t Mess Around with Jim, to I Got A Name these songs formed my childhood years.
