A Realistic Look at Earnings

To begin with, let me remind people that Medium is not a get-rich-quick scheme. It has taken me years to get where I am now by working consistently, building an audience, and writing often. Since I have been here, I have met some incredible people. I wish I could tag them all, but that would take too long.

It has never worked for me to write in one niche, but I write across several genres, and themes, though I do pray my faith shines through in everything I write.

So now let’s get into the top five articles for August,

First, I wrote about what to donate and what not to donate to your local food pantry, and it earned $11.58 for the month. It was actually written on July 31st, so it earned a bit the last day of July. This one is linked below if you’re interested in reading it. For a couple of kids who were in need of school supplies, I purchased notebooks, binders, paper and pencils with the earnings from that one.
