I am reviewing a copy of Character Matters Shepherding in the Fruit of the Spirit through Moody Publishers and Netgalley:

It’s time for Pastors to shut down all the noise and focus on what truly matters.

Today’s world for Pastors is packed with books, conferences, and seminars teaching you different techniques for being that all-star pastor, so they can grow their church quickly, and change the world. The key to success both much harder and much simpler. Pastors are of course called to be faithful to have an unblemished character and most importantly to love Jesus. Without faithfulness Pastors do more harm than they do good. It is important that churches have Pastors with a sound doctrine and a sound life.

Character Matters reminds you the importance of slowing down, and cutting through the noise and distractions, and focus on what matters which is of course the fruit of the spirit. Each chapter a guided, biblical meditation on one aspect of each piece of the fruit of the Spirit.

I give Character Matters five out of five stars!

Happy Reading!
