Broken Beginnings: Chapter Fifteen
Chapter Fifteen:
I woke up early, allowing me plenty of time to get ready for my morning classes. I was getting back into a routine which I liked, but I was nervous after watching the news yesterday, seeing that monster had struck again, this time killing his victim.
He was hurting people intentionally, there could be no accident about running someone off the road, and then staying long enough to watch his victims suffer, but not long enough to be caught.
I had vague, fragmented memories of him getting out of that truck with an old 35 Mm in his hands, taking pictures.
That couldn’t be right could it? It had to be some kind of false memory.
I tried to push the worries away, the memories of that night and focus on the memories of that night. I wanted to focus on college, on family and my friends, that monster kept trying to take things away from me and I had to stop letting him take things away from me, I do not want him to have that control over my life, I hadn’t realized just how much control he was giving me.
After getting ready for classes, knowing I had a few moments to spare I took sometime in prayer and reflection, praying that they would catch him soon. I knew by now his first name was Keith, and that he was hell bent on destroying as many lives as he could, he thought he…
