Chapter One:

I saw the Blue pick up, coming at us, words of hate spelled out on a bumper. I felt the impact of a bumper hitting us, until we lost control, spinning off until we hit a tree on the shoulder of the road.

I tried to hit the breaks before we got the full impact of the tree, but my legs would not move, my feet would not move, all I could do was pray we didn’t go over the side. My best friend and I had just been laughing, talking about the start of college, our dreams and ambitions just moments before.

“Bobe would be proud.” I had said with a sigh. She had past away when I was fourteen, a freak accident, but thankfully she had not suffered. Bobe had enough suffering in her life.

Lord, send us help. I prayed.

I saw the blood on Nadia’s face, cuts and glass shards, she was unconscious and I was afraid.

“We have to much to do, this can’t be the end.” I cried out, and felt a presence that brought me piece. The Lord was there, but I felt Bobe was too.

I tried to move, but I could not, something was wrong, very wrong. It was like half of my body had gone to sleep.

It will be okay. I tried to convince myself. You’ll go to the hospital, they’ll keep you overnight and you’ll be home
