Broken Beginnings: Chapter Sixteen

Chapter Sixteen:

Chapter Sixteen:

“I saw the news last night.” Tiffany said. “Are you okay?”

“I am.” I said. “Though I have to admit I was a bit of a mess last night. He killed someone.”

“I know.” Tiffany said. “But they will find him.”

“I want to believe that, but I want it to happen sooner than later.” I said.

“I know.” Tiffany said.

“I honestly have to admit I am more than a little scared, that he is still out there. I am not going to stop living my life though, if he does that, I am giving him that kind of control over my life. He’d get to much satisfaction.”

I grew tired of talking about the monster who had put me in this chair, I wanted to focus on other things, thankfully Tiffany realized that I was growing tired of talking about that monster.

“How do you like the Creative Writing Class, and English?”

“I like them.” I said. “The classes are great. I am looking forward to getting strong enough to take more.”

“You are getting stronger everyday, I’ve only known you for a short period of time, and even I can see that you have come a long way.”

“Thank you.” I said, not knowing what else. to say.
