Chapter Thirty Two:

Katarina has been getting ready for Nadia to go home. I know it is not going to be easy for her, but it is a blessing, a step forward, a life lived outside of the hospital. We can’t pretend things are going to go back to the way they were before, but that’s not going to happen, a brain injury or a spinal cord injury isn’t just something you can get over, I know that! You just don’t get over nearly being killed by a madman even if you do not bare the scars Nadia and I do, if you don’t get past the fact that someone you don’t know wants you dead, simply because of who you are, because of who you’re family was. They don’t know you, they just know that they hate you.
Babula hatred is a foolish thing, it makes grown men and women act like spoiled children, just because things are not going the way you want them too, it’s a sad fact but it is a fact, and it is not one that we can easily forget. Hatred has power, but it is up to us how much powe we give,
