Autumn’s Awakening (Acrostic)
Oct 10, 2021
*Its been awhile since ive attempted an Acrostic poem, so here it goes..,
Amber colored skies
Under a sunset sky
Taking turns jumping in a leaf pile
Under bare trees, children dancing
Making memories
Not caring about the chill in the air.
After awhile the
Wind greets
A cold breeze won’t
Keep kids from magic
Entering imaginary kingdoms
Not ready to go
In as the afternoon
Turns to night
Giving in children reluctantly relent.
