Houses were known by their offerings to our tribe:
Bright-colored sugary drinks, cookies, swimming pool,
Sandbox, flat field for kickball, baseball, and more,
Swing set with jungle gym, forbidden garden guarded
By grouchy woman with cloudy eyes and ratty dog.
Remember When We Forgot?
