To a narrow

Definition

Of what

Normal is

Fit into a

Neat little

Box

Because some

Are so quick

To judge

Something different

Makes them

Uncomfortable

Abelism is

Alive and well

Unfortunately

As dangerous

As racism

We’re dismissing

Everyone

Is different

Physical,

Mental

It doesn’t

Matter.

If we

Look and see

Differences are

Meant to embraced

Not looked

Down upon.

Disability

It’s whispered

Like a

Bad word

Something to

Be ashamed

Of

It isn’t

Though,

It’s beautiful.
