Death Could Not Hold Him
Mar 31, 2021
He bore the cost
The price for our
Sins
Mocked,
And ridiculed
A crown of
Thorns
Pierced his
Head,
Salvation’s child
Now a man.
He bore the cost
Carrying the weight
Of the cross
To Gethsemane
Broken
And bleeding
He carried the
Weight
Of our
Sin
On his
Shoulders.
Beaten and humiliated
Christ our savior
Bore the pain
Of the cross
Of hell
So we did not
Have to.
But on the
Third day
He rose
Death could
Not hold
Him,
The son of
Man,
The hope
Of mankind.
