1:) What is your favorite painting? How do you personally relate to/connect with this picture? It would be great if you could share a picture of it and tell us more about it.
The Madonna and child painting my grandfather painted. Honestly, I don’t remember the title.
2:) Can you write a text of fewer than 50 words explaining your favorite painting (the one in question 1) the way you see it?
Text-wise, I cannot begin to put this painting into words, other than to say it has always touched my heart and given me joy. Although I lost my Grandfather when I was around nine, I still have vivid memories of him working in his little studio.
03:) Who is your favorite painter, and why?
I would have to choose my late grandfather. In addition to being an amazing artist, he was a great woodworker as well. I still have the bookcase he built in 1953 when my Mother was only a toddler
