In shades

Don’t color
Me
With looks
Of pity.
Don’t tell me
You need to
Treat me differently
Because certain
Things are beyond
My ability
And you don’t
Need to box
Me
Into your neat
Categories.
Don’t think
You need to
Look at me
In eyes of tragedy,
My world isn’t
Colored in shades
Of pity.
