Let me be honest here there are times that I have allowed myself to get sucked into the Social Media Vortex, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and Tik-Tok. Tiki-Tok can suck you in, and sometimes you feel as if you are Alice falling down that Rabbit Hole, is what you are seeing or hearing real? Don’t get me wrong there are genuine creators, creators who teach you a lot. But what about the ones that are doing things simply for views.

Before you click away out of sheer frustration, thinking that I am simply going on a social media tangent, bare with me that’s not my purpose, this is more about balance.

There are those on Social Media who are out to help others, to use their platforms for good. I follow some very well known Jewish and Christian Creators, I follow families trying to advocate for children with life threatening and heartbreaking conditions, families who would do anything to change the situation they were in, we can learn something from these families, but we can easily allow Social Media to control our lives.
