Earnings Weren’t Always Based on Read Time Alone
Not Merely Another piece on Earnings, But a Breakdown of the Evolution of the MPP Program
Back when I joined the MPP Program in February of 2018, it wasn’t merely member read time that factored in our earnings, claps and views did count too, that being said this is by no means a post to compl about the change, I get why that change took place, people were clapping and running without reading much of what was written of course that was not true for everyone, and I get it some people are fast readers, myself included, which is why the listening feature is great, and I try to utilize it as much as possible.
If you’d like to check out my highest paying piece to date, you can do so here, it had just under thirty minutes of read time, and less than four hundred views, that being said, I’ve had pieces with equal amounts of read time and comparable views that have earned far less.
In January of this year I wrote Who Are You, my second higest earning piece, the member read time was far higher than the first one, but the views far less, it earned just $4.70 which is really beside the point, but I thought I’d show you the stats
