Fade Away

It never ceases to amaze me how the loss of someone we’ve only met through the words they have written on a computer screen can leave such an impact on our lives.

You can touch
A life
Souls
You've met
Through
The flickering of
A computer screen
And still you
Touch a life
Even as your candle
Flickers
And dies.

You can
Share a story
Only you
Understand
Leaving an
Impact
That crosses continents
And transcends time.

You can
Sing the
Melody
Of that song
As you
Fight
All along
Your candle
Flickers
And fades
But a legacy
Lives on.
A legacy only
You can claim.
