The Messiah had convinced her, he had convinced all of them, but he had used his power to rape, mutilate, and murder. She had fallen for it, all of it!

Her entire life had been shaped by this perceived fantasy, a fake salvation, which she had run away from home for at sixteen. However, only Jesus had the power to save, and he didn’t do it by hurting girls or bringing children into harm’s way.

There was never a prophecy, everything was a lie.!” The girl screamed, ten years in the prison with him, ten years of watching him torture little girls, for what?

Although she was sixteen when she ran away, most of these children were much younger, little girls as young as nine and ten years old.

With the baby growing inside her, she could no longer pretend it was safe.

What if it was a girl, what if the same thing that happened to her, happened to the baby growing inside her?

Her arms were wrapped around her round belly.

As he stared at her, he exclaimed, “How dare you defy me, I am the Messiah.”

She glared back at him with a strength she didn’t know she possessed.

“Before I let you go, I’ll kill you and send you straight to hell.”

Her pocket bulged as she reached in, and pulled out the small pistol.

“This was all a lie. It was never a prophecy.” She said, pulling the trigger.

In the end, she’d be free of him, and she’d also make sure he wouldn’t hurt anyone else’s child, especially her own.
