This explains why I’m still a Christian. The same thing that inspired me to become a Christian in the first place keeps me going. I came to him for forgiveness of my sins, and I’m still inspired by what he did to take away my sins, namely dying on the cross for me, in my place. He then rose on the third day and makes intercession for me. (see Hebrews 7:25) That great exchange of my sin for his righteousness continues to amaze me.
