Growth and Grace
A Personal Theme For 2023

I am not really one who does a lot of New Years Resolutions because honestly more often than not they fall to the wayside. I do have goals in mind though. I want to achieve these goals at my own pace.
In order to achieve some of these goals, I know I need to step outside my comfort zone. I’ll need to stop listening to the voice that tells me no you can’t. That’s where grace comes in, and I’ll have to listen to where the Lord is leading me.
I don’t want to go blindly through life, making the same mistakes. Instead I want to
go forward in both my Faith, and my writing, both are gifts from God, and I would like to take them in the direction he leads.

Making changes is rarely easy, I know that. But when God gives us something to strive for, when he sets a path for us, he gives us the tools we need to go in that direction. I’m not saying it somehow becomes so easy it doesn’t seem like work. I am saying he is there with us along the way, even when we struggle to see his footprints.
