Her Gentle and Rough Hands

In memory of a remarkable woman, during International Womens Month!

She was our reminder

Of how far we had come

The glue that tied generations together.

She always

Reminded us the

World was at

Our fingertips

And never wanted

The word “Bored”

To be in our vocabulary.

She had a smile

That could light

Up a room

And a strength that

Could melt

Grown men

With a look.

She taught us

The importance

Lessons

And the

Little ones too

This small petite

Italian woman

Who was the

Strongest person

I knew.
