Hope Is

Hope is a gift

Sometimes bought

In despair

It’s the dream

That doesn’t make

Sense

But remains

There.

Hope is that

Belief

That the

Corner

Will be turned

Even when the

Hallway

Looks bleak.

Hope is

A Child’s Laughter

In a world

Of tears.

Hope is that

Faith

That carries

Us through despair.
