Hannah’s Story Continues

Image created with photolab pro in 2019

When I awoke, sunlight peeked through the shades. Today was going to be a perfect Sunday for teaching Sunday School, I smiled. Having the opportunity to share Jesus with the children made my heart happy, but there were times when the children asked difficult questions.

“Hannah, will you ever walk again?”

The only answer I could offer them was to remind them that the Lord was in charge and that he always had my best interest at heart.

No matter what happened, no matter how hard it was, I knew that Jesus would help me through it.

Some say hope is fleeting, but when you have faith that’s not the caae, hope is what allows us to soar!

There were times when I struggled, of course, but I didn’t let the accident shake my faith. No matter what, Jesus was there for me even when I broke down in the most unexpected times.

As tears streamed down my cheeks, I remembered that as I stared down at the wheelchair next to my bed.

After letting myself feel what I need to feel for a few moments! As important as it was to have hope, I also needed to grieve, it was part of the healing process!

After allowing myself to feel the emotions, the grief, that I needed to feel, I felt so much better. Now I could enjoy a beautiful sunny Sunday while teaching the kids about Jesus!
