I survived. I am writing these words over 1.5 years after that day, happy to be alive. Reflecting on everything that happened, I believe that I ended up in a situation I was not able to handle alone. I had psychological support, where we talked about suicidal ideation many times. I was on medication prescribed by a psychiatrist. I had people around me who loved and cared about me. But it was not enough.
