Muses don’t need disguises, 
Appear to those who invite them
By writing, telling stories, studying craft
Expecting no one is coming to save
Them or any writer who doesn’t
Simply get to work as best they can
With sticks, stylus, electronic device.
Desperate dreamers do not merit
Muses— nothing beyond encouragement
