I Took Offense, But was it Right

Yesterday, I received a comment on a post I wrote a few days ago, about the changes on Medium, namely the inability to write or edit on the mobile app, and basically the commenter said something along the lines of you aren’t a real writer if you use the app and you’re lazy, well honestly I took offense and fired back with a comment that reminded this person that "real writers have busy life." Then I proceeded to ask this person if I was supposed to stop volunteeing at Nancy’s Hope (A local food bank) and start sitting at a computer all day long. I use a computer so infrequently that though I had two I gave one to my Church and the other to my brother! I use my phone and Ipad for everything because for me that’s simply more practical.

But I find myself going back and forth whether I was to quick to comment, as a Child of God, I do not want others to get the impression I am quick to anger, but like everyone else I have my breaking point, and there things I will not tolerate, and telling anyone that they are not a writer, that they are lazy because thru utilize the app to write , to edit, or at least at one time they dis. But there are things to consider beyond that, many writers are struggling financially anf perhaps they are only unabke to afford a phone is tablet, which by and far are far less expensive than computers, and many live in areas where they have frequent blackouts, it's a…
