I’ll Stumble, I’ll Fall, I’ll Get Up Again Chapter Thirty Two

Chapter Thirty Two:

Mother, Krista and I picked up Samantha at the airport a few days later. The crowds I found overwhelming, and at times I felt like I was going to get lost in a sea of people. Krista sensing I was overwhelmed stuck close by my side.

Thankfully we did not have to worry about being there to long, because Samantha came rolling a suitcase along with her. I smiled upon seeing her, it had been a different lifetime when I last saw her, or so it seemed.

It took a moment for Samantha to see me. We had both grown and changed, she was younger than I, but we had been as close as sisters growing up, she and I and Krista when Krista was old enough spent as much time as we could with one another.

“Sienna, thank you so much for inviting me out.”

“Of course Samantha, I thought you’d like to come out early, we have a lot of catching up to do.”

“Yes we do.” Samantha agreed. “How are you?”

“I’ll talk about that more in detail when we get to my place.” I said. “At the moment though, I’m okay, happy you’re here.”

“I’m happy to be here.”

I wheeled myself through a crowd of people, a few people stared, but most were to busy catching up on emails, or calling loved ones to really pay…
