I’ll Stumble, I’ll Fall, I’ll Get Up Again: Chapter Forty One

Chapter Forty One:

“Sienna, do you really think my Moms going to be okay?”

“Samantha I think they have her stabilized and she’ll be okay. Mom is going to make sure she takes her meds.”

I wheeled myself over to the chair where Samantha was sitting. “We’ve talked about this Samantha, Mom is going to take over her care until she gets back on her feet but we can see her everyday. Mom is only a few doors down.”

“I know.” Samantha said. “I’m just nervous I guess, it feels like I’m waiting for the last shoe to drop.”

“It’s going to be okay Samantha, you aren’t alone in this any longer, it’s to much for one person to handle.”

“I know.” Samantha said sadly. “I couldn’t do it alone any longer.”

“And you don’t have to cousin, you are not going through this alone.”

“Thank you for that.”

“You don’t need to thank me Samantha.”

“Yes I really do, more than you know.”

I hated to see Samantha feeling so nervous abs afraid. I knew she had reason for these feelings but I did not know exactly whether she was going through anymore than she could know exactly what I was going through.
