I’m Never Eating Another Turkey Burger

Let me set the scene for you, and sorry, it’s not a pretty one. I get up around Six A.M this morning to take my dog out, because on Tuesday’s I volunteer at our local food pantry, which happens to be located on the Church Campus, (After today, I hope they aren’t regretting this.) As I said, I got up, took my dog out, got dressed, and ready to go, so I could get there early, something I do all the time, to turn on the air conditioner, open the windows, and make sure we have the air circulating, but today, when I walked down, I smelled something horrible before I even turned the corner to go downstairs to the rooms where the pantry is located. I took out my key, afraid of what I was going to find, had an animal somehow gotten in, and died in the room, I honestly had no idea, until I opened the door, and walked to the direction where the smell was strongest, the room where the freezer was in, an industrial freezer, that apparently decided to give out, because what I walked into, was a disgusting, smelly mess, that I will never soon forget. And was actually rather disheartening.

Throwing a way food is bad enough, throwing a way three hundred pounds of ground turkey because of a freezer malfunction, or whatever happened, we aren’t sure exactly what, but I can tell you it wreaked, and definitely made me loose my taste for Turkey Burgers, or anything made with ground Turkey.
