Inferno

The sky glows in

Pinks grays and reds
Beautiful and

So tragic.

California

Oregon

Washington

On fire

So many

Lost so much

Some trapped

In the midst

Of an inferno.

Life has become

Like an appocalyptic

Movie

But for some

It’s all to real.

My heart is

Broken in two

As so many suffer

And we rally

Around them

Trying to make

Sense

Of the tragic.
