It Could Have Broke Her

It could

Have broke

Her.

She had become

Part of a story

She hadn’t prepared

For.

The best laid plans

That had been

Set out before

Her had changed

Directions,

In just a blink

A matter of seconds.

It hadn’t been

Easy the twist

And turns

The limitations

Others tried to

Claim were hers.

Life isn’t always
A map you have planned

A straight line from

Point A to B

Sometimes reality

Threw curves

In the paths you

Thought you were

Going to take

She had learned

That and learned too

That sometimes

The curves

Made the

Destination worth

The wait.

It could have

Broke her

If she had taken

Heed to

The limitations,

But instead what

Others perceived

As a tragedy

Brought her to

A deeper faith.
