Had gone around

The bend

Flying faster

Than they

Should have been

Quickly loosing

Control,

Three sheets

To the wind.

Someone else’s mistake

Took the life she

Once had

But she was still

Living,

And that certainly

Was a gift.

It was hard

To pretend

Things were always

Alright

When you’re

Life was shaken

Like a snow globe

At a dizzying pace.

But giving up

Was never an

Option

Life was worth

Living

And dreams worth

Pursuing.

Sometimes it was

Easy to pretend

That life was sheltered

Then you’re whole
