It’s Not An Ending
But A New Begginning
Hannah’s Story Continues
I could have given up, looked at the accident as an ending, but I choose not to see it that way, instead of an ending, it was a new beggining. Yes, I was facing new challenges, but life has its challenges, and if you have Jesus by your side, you’ll overcome them, and you’ll become stronger.
It would be easy to be angry at the situation that took my ability to walk away, but I knew I had a choice, let it take more than I already had out of me, or I could push forward with this new reality, and lean on the Lord, does that mean I don’t struggle, not at all, there are days when I feel the weight of it all, but then I am reminded that he is there to help me carry that weight. Because I am not alone with Jesus in my heart.
Just as I remind the Sunday School kids, we aren’t guaranteed a pain-free life, but He is there for us in the midst of the storms, all we have to do is call out to Him. In the months since the accident, I’ve done a lot of that. It’s not easy, but who said life was? No one gave us a free pass on life’s struggles, but we have something others do not, the reminder that we are not alone.
Even though I would have been spiritually prepared to go to Heaven, I am grateful to see what path the Lord will take me down. Children may be in the picture, but even if…
