It’s Not Easy

It's not easy

Finding your place

In a world that

Is so quick to judge

Leg braces

And an awkward gaits dont make

me taunt

And if a child wants to ask me a question

About my legs

Don't tell them to shush

I don't mind

Teaching them

Might just help them

Be more tolerant.

I would rather you ask

Than judge,

I don't mind

Teaching,

But False assumptions

And being treated like

A second class citizen

Are not something I can tolerate.
