Falling Short and Starting Anew

Despite my best efforts, I fell short of my goal of $150 in June. As a result of a few changes and new responsibilities at my Church, I have less time, but I’m trying to make the most of it here, so let’s see what worked, and what didn’t.

#5 She’d Climb that Mountain, a poem I wrote about the late wheelchair dancer Auti Angel, whose mother died of breast cancer years earlier. Below is the poem, which was published on June.04, and earned $7.12. Poetry can and does earn, but the earnings are generally lower for poetry, but good poetry can reach readers in a way few other forms can.
