Greetings from the beautiful Mother-Lodes of California, home of the First Presbyterian Church of Columbia, also known as the Church of the 49ers, not to be confused with the 🏈 team lol. No, the Church was founded in 1854, and funded by Miners, and business men and women in the town, here Women could and did own businesses.

We are also home to the oldest two story brick schoolhouse in California, located oddly enough mere yards away from one of our oldest cemeteries.
