Laughter and Tears Echo Across the Nation’s

We live life
A new way now
Gone is the hustle
And bustle
Of the everyday.

.
We’ve had a lesson
In cherishing those
We love
In the midst
Of a new normal
We are trying
To wrap our minds
Around.

We sit around table now
Let the kids stay up
Late
Talk to them
And help them
Grapple
The new normal
They don’t quite grasp.
We live a new normal now
Lazy mornings,
And for many
Homeschooling afternoons.

As Laughter and Tears Echo Across the Nation’s.
We are learning
Patience
And ways to entertain
While laughter
And tears
Echo across homes
In every nation.
