Perhaps you are reading this and you are new to Medium, you wonder what this journey will bring you. Maybe you are here because you are passionate about writing, or maybe you think you will make a quick buck, let me tell you that if the first is your goal you are far more likely to find success here, and your Medium journey will be far more meaningful at least in my opinion.
But there are things that you should know in this journey, first of all, don’t expect perfection out of the gate, in fact scratch that idea all together, because writing on Medium or anywhere else is a never ending learning process.
Medium is ever changing, don’t get overly used to things being one way, because it’s likely going to change, you just have to adapt to the changes.
Start out with smaller goals, don’t think that if you write one article, you are going to make it rich, again I come back to the fact that writing on Medium needs to be about more than money, that certainly does not mean you can’t celebrate your earnings.
