It was a miracle, a gift from God, Anna-leis had no doubt about it, they were now parents, parents of twin girls, it seemed it happened so fast and so slowly all at the same time. Their daughters had been with them for a few days now, the weather was warm, so they all decided it was a good time to take their daughters to the water, Anna-leis was determined to give Sonya and Sasha the best life possible. Already Anna-leis and Clarence could see a change, they weren’t so shy and withdrawn, they were quickly finding a place, they were a family, a real family.

Anna-leis was happier than she had been since the day she and Clarence got married, they were parents now of twin girls who needed them. God worked in mysterious ways, in this case he had turned what some looked as a tragedy and turned it into blessings.

“Clarence, sometimes I am afraid, I am going to wake up to find this is all a dream.” Anna-leis sighed, looking at Clarence, at the girls, their daughters, this couldn’t be a dream, it had to be real.

“Sweetheart this isn’t a dream, it’s as real a my love for you.” Clarence assured her, as they watched the girls playing in the sand, running barefout, enjoying childhood, all the things she had not been allowed to do as a child, but it was different now, she and Clarence were parents now.
