Life is beautiful, there are times it’s messy, it may seem ugly on the surface, ugly things happen, pain, heartbreak, you can wake up fine one day, ready to take on the world only to wake up in a hospital room, after being crashed into by a drunk driver and suddenly you are faced with a new reality. Anna-leis was no stranger to this reality. She had lived it, but out of the chaos the pain came something beautiful, love and family.

Anna-leis had Clarence, she knew that without her Faith and Clarence presence facing the reality of being a double amputee would have been unbearable, it was still hard of course, but she had been through harder things.

During her time in the hospital and the many weeks and months while she was recovering it was the Lord she leaned on first and foremost, but it was Clarence’s shoulder she cried on when things were harder than she could have ever imagined when she grieved over what she had lost, Clarence was her strong arm, he was her helpmate. Their relationship had been forged in the fire, and it still remained strong. Clarence was her happily ever after and she was Clarence’s fairytale princess only a thousand times better.
