Like Letters Written in the Sand Part Forty Two Revised
There was something almost magical about a love forged in fire. Chaos seems to have built this love. This is not what Anna-leis imagined for her life, the joy, love, family, burning passion.
In chaos, God gave calm, hope, and understanding. After living that life for so long, Anna-leis understood how God had written hope into her life when all seemed hopeless. Even as the doctors’ words echoed in her ears, Clarence had made life more bearable.
To save your life, we had to amputate both legs.
Infections were set in, and they are quickly changing artists, she knew that, and not amputating would have meant death. In spite of all she endured, Anna-leis never regretted living, and she never regretted designating Clarence as her medical guardian. Just a couple of weeks prior, when filling out the paperwork, something made Anna-leis sign Clarence’s name.
Clarence’s eyes held love and compassion that was enough for Anna-leis to know that what they had was real, that God knew what he was doing, of course there were no doubts.
God wasn’t to blame for what happened to her; he didn’t decide someone should get behind the wheel with a blood alcohol level three times the limit, but he was to blame for the stew. It was Clarence who gave her strength, and now it is…
