Like Letters Written in the Sand…Part Thirty Five (Revised)
Originally, Anna-leis was skeptic about the kind of love she and Clarence shared. The joy and love she was experiencing now had never occurred to her because her parents had told her she was unworthy of love, joy, or anything else. Clarence and his family taught her how to love and accept love.
The good in her life outweighed the bad, and she was learning to praise God even in the storms.
She was no stranger to storms, but she was also no stranger to joy. As a result of her faith in God, she had been blessed with miracles in her life. The fact that she was alive itself was a miracle.
She should have died in that car. The car was so damaged, she was hurt so badly, but God had other plans for her, and she was grateful as she looked at her husband and daughters.
Although she struggled with being a double amputee, life was good, and God certainly deserved the glory.
“Thank you, Clarence.” Anna-leis said, gazing into his loving gaze.
”Sweetheart, you are welcome, but what for?” he asked.
“You loved me even when I didn’t know how to love.”
