Anna-leis was improving, her steps less faltered, though she was not where she wanted to be, but she could go for short walks with their girls, if she could hold on to Clarence’s hand, it had taken her a long time to get to this point, but it was worth it, she would never again take something as simple as a step for granted, or waking up and stepping on the cool wooden flooring, or dangling her feet…
