Love Heals the Brokenhearted

Chapter Twenty One:

Colossians 3:14–17

New International Version

“And over all these virtues put on love, which binds them all together in perfect unity. Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, since as members of one body you were called to peace. And be thankful. Let the message of Christ dwell among you richly as you teach and admonish one another with all wisdom through psalms, hymns, and songs from the Spirit, singing to God with gratitude in your hearts. And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.”

Kelsea often felt lost in Kevin’s eyes. She was reminded of hope, love, and more importantly, faith, without which she would not be here. Her life could have been lost to the accident, she almost died, but God had better plans for her. With the grief and pain so fresh in her heart, she may not understand them yet. However, God will reveal them to her at the right time.

Jesus and Kevin were Kelsea’s whole world, and she was grateful for that, since she no longer felt alone. Without her Faith and her husband, everything she had endured would have been a thousand times harder.
