Chapter Twelve:
Kevin was a romantic there was no denying that. He loved Kelsea in a way she had never dreamed possible a love that was willing to sacrifice everything, even as her life changed, her reality changed two things did not, God’s love and the genuine love Kevin had for her. He didn’t expect anything in return but her love, and that was something she was willing to give.
He had been there for her as she struggled with the new reality, as she tried to adjust to a life she had not prepared for. But then who prepares for an accident that paralyzes you?
She had cried her share of tears, out of anger and frustration over the last few weeks, the walls that she had built had crumbled when this new reality sit in, at least they had come down for Kevin, Kelsea still struggled with opening to others, but she had Kevin, and more importantly she had God, something she may not have had if it wasn’t for the accident, because before that she thought she was in control.
