I Write to Undeestand the World Around Me

I write in large part to make sense of a world that honestly seems upside down at times, today was a reminder of that.

About three hours ago one of my best friends lost her Father, she called my Mom and I did some calling to let those who were praying for her know, but my Mom made a few calls herself, one to talk about the volunteer schedule, in which this person went on and on about how I wasn’t doing anything, basically calling me lazy, when just last week the same person said I was overdoing it, the funny thing is nothing has changed. I am busy just as I always am. Her comment wasn’t what got to me though, it was that she decided to pick an argument right after my Mother had given her The news about our friends Dad. Honestly I found the whole ordeal rather thoughtless given the circumstances.

People who want to argue about stupid things at the most inopportune times are just one of many things that don’t make any sense to me. Honestly it felt like she was trying to shift the attention to herself, instead of focusing on what should be The focus, praying And supporting our friend during her time of loss.
