Make Lemonade, Chapters Six, Seven & Eight

Chapter Six:

“I was able to get your stuff moved in just a couple of trips.” Kayla told me.

“Thank you so much.”

“You are more than welcome. We will have our work cut out for us when you are released.”

“I know I can’t wait and at the same time I am beyond nervous.”

“I know Kissy But it’s going to be okay.”

“I know it will be and I certainly don’t want to stay in here forever.”

“I don’t blame you.”

“Honestly at times I feel like I am going to go stir crazy in here. I want to get out of here and get back to teaching.”

“Kristiana I have no doubt that both of those things will be happening sooner rather than later.”

“Honestly Kay , I am a little worried, what if they think that this will somehow affect my ability to teach.”

“Kristiana anyone in their right mind will see that you are completely capable of teaching.”

“I hope so.”

“Kissy we are in the twenty first century there are laws preventing people discriminating because of a disability.”

“I know Kay, but that doesn’t stop people and I am new to all of this. I guess I’m just a little nervous.”
