For many fame can be a two edged sword, often, far to often it comes at the cost of one’s mental health, that was true for Mindy McCready.

Mindy McCready- Melinda Gayle McCready was born on November.30.1975, and died on February.17.2013. The country music star was active in her career from 1995 to her death in 2013. She began singing at the age of three at her local Pentecostal Church in Fort Meyers Florida where she was born. She would move to Nashville when she was eighteen. She graduated high school at the age of sixteen to pursue her music career. After moving to Nashville.

1996 would bring the release of her debut album Ten Thousand Angels and would go on to sell two million copies. The album produced four chart singles on the country charts: the title track at No. 6, followed by her first and only Number One hit, “Guys Do It All the Time”. This song, in turn, was succeeded by “Maybe He’ll Notice Her Now”, a duet with Richie McDonald, then the lead vocalist of Lonestar. The fourth and final single, “A Girl’s Gotta Do (What a Girl’s Gotta Do)”, peaked at No. 4
