Memorial Day, Is an American Holiday, remembering those who died in active service, its roots date back to the Civil War, but Congress made it a Legal Holiday in 1971.
Our Little Town does re-enactments, as well as saying the names of those that were lost in various wars.
I had the pleasure of taking many photographs that day, with my Samsung S 20, proving you do not need to have an expensive, bulky camera, a phone with a decent camera will do the trick.
And getting a picture of them kissing has become a tradition, last year it was my turn to continue with the tradition.
